On July 23 1966, Portugal legend Eusebio singlehandedly led his nation to a stunning 5-3 victory over North Korea after going three goals down.

Eusebio, renowned for being Mozambique-born, found his side trailing by three goals in the opening 25 minutes in Liverpool.

The 1966 World Cup top marksman then hit a staggering four goals in the space of 32 minutes to make history and complete an epic fightback.

Jose Augusto scored the fifth after a corner from Eusebio as Portugal remain one of just two nations ever to survive a three-goal trailing in the World Cup.
