Marca reports that Primera Liga side Malaga are not far from signing the 21-year-old, which could be ‘the next Mido’ according to the prominent Spanish paper.
“Malaga would be perfect for him,” Mido, the first and only Egyptian to play in La Liga with Celta Vigo, said.
“Zamalek have about five players in Ibrahim’s position, so I think it would be better for him to move to Spain.”
In the same subject, Malaga-based Malaghoy said that a €400,000 transfer from Zamalek seems on the cards, even though the Cairo club are still hoping for more.
It is believed that Ibrahim is keen to leave Zamalek this summer after he had been approached by several European clubs including Romania’s Vaslui and Switzerland’s Sion.
The talented forward still has two years left in his contract, with Zamalek willing to offer him a new deal before loaning him out.
