Zamalek lost a crucial six-pointer 1-0 at Ismaili as the 11-time champions are now in danger of missing out on the league top two spots.

A 64th minute strike from Ghanaian hitman John Antwi downed the Whites, following a poor piece of goalkeeping by veteran Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed.

With three weeks remaining, the massive victory moves Ismaili to second place in Group B with 30 points, two clear of fourth-placed Zamalek.

Police Union are in third place with 29 points following their victory over leaders Petrojet this week.

The match was marred by a few altercations between both sides, including what seemed a verbal exchange between Zamalek boss Mido and Ismaili goalkeeping coach Saafan Al-Saghir.
