Seven Arab teams enjoyed wins in their 2007 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers on Wednesday.

UAE snatched the summit of their Group C after a 4-1 thrashing of Pakistan, raising their tally to 6 points, three ahead of Oman who crushed Jordan 3-0.

Yemen grabbed their first 3 points of the qualifiers after beating India 3-0 in their Group A match as did Syria who produced a 4-0 drubbing of Chinese Taipei in Group B.

All four teams in Group E are tied on 3 points after Iraq beat China 2-1 and Palestine edged Singapore with a 1-0 win.

Qatar topped their Group F with 6 points after scrapping past Uzbekistan with a 2-1 victory.

Kuwait and Bahrain were the only Arab teams to produce a draw as they settled for a goalless stalemate in their Group D encounter.
