The Cairo side secured their place in the last eight with a hard-fought victory over Libya's Ittihad in penalty shootout.

Group B includes Algeria's ES Setif, Kuwait club, Faisaly of Jordan and Saudi giants Nassr.

ENPPI and Ismaili were eliminated from the competition's second round after suffering defeats to Ahli Bordj and Faisaly respectively.
