Dutch winger Arjen Robben has been given the green light to play against France on Friday as he made a quick recovery from his groin injury.

"He is not only ready for Romania but also ready for France. He is fit," Holland boss Marco Van Basten told Skysports.com on Thursday.

The Real Madrid winger has been ruled out of last Tuesday’s victory against Italy and was expected to miss all of the group stages.

But he resumed full training with his teammates on Thursday and is now fit to play against les Bleus.

Meanwhile Wesley Sneijder has hailed the Oranje spirit and believes it would be the key to success.

"This is my third tournament. Never before have I seen such a good group.

"Also in how we deal with each other. We can talk about football very well. Maybe that's why we have the now-or-never feeling. We have the possibility to win Euro 2008 and we all feel that we can do it,” concluded the Holland midfielder.
