Barcelona's Hleb out of Champions League opener

The Belarusian sprained his ankle during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Racing Santander, following a tough tackle by Pablo Pinillos.

Barcelona's official site confirmed that he is out for up to four weeks, which means he could also miss the trip to Shakhtar Donetsk on October 1st.

Barca, who were off to a disappointing start in the Primera Liga, will compete in Group C with Sporting, Shakhtar and Basel of Switzerland.
