Ittihad extend Geddo contract

Ittihad Alexandria signed Mohamed Nagui 'Geddo' on a one-year extension that keeps him at the club till 2012.

Geddo is targeted by several Egyptian top-flight sides and the coastal club wanted him to settle down, according to Ittihad chairman Mohamed Mosselhi.

Mosselhi told FilGoal.com that Geddo will earn EGP 500.000 in the additional year of the contract.

Effective immediately, the new contract grants the veteran midfielder an EGP 100,000 raise, taking his annual salary to 250,000.

Meanwhile, Ittihad coach Taha Basri denied opening talks with any players ahead of January's transfer window.

"I keep an eye on some second-division players, but I am not holding any talks at the moment," Basri told FilGoal.com
