Badri says Cameroon trip was beneficial

Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri said he had benefited from his brief trip to Cameroon ahead of the Red Devils' Champions League final against Coton Sport.

Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri said he had benefited from his brief trip to Cameroon ahead of the Red Devils' Champions League final against Coton Sport.

The five-time African champions have condemned the Cameroonian outfit to a 2-0 defeat at Cairo stadium in the first leg, and now they are preparing for the second leg, Which takes place in Garoua.

"The trip helped me asses the training pitches and the hotel we're supposed to check into," he told FilGoal.com.

"The hotel is good according to the standards of the African countries, and is considered the best in Garoua."

Ahli's official website reported earlier that Al-Badri was dismissed from the stands by Coton Sport officials as he tried to watch a league game for the Cameroonian side.

The assistant coach is going to miss Ahli's game against Telecom Egypt in the league, as he arrives in Cairo on Friday night.
