Ittihad coach Taha Basri is unwilling to underestimate fallen Cairo giants Zamalek ahead of this week's Egyptian league clash.

Zamalek succumbed to their seventh league defeat this season last weekend, losing at 1-0 home to Ghazl Mahalla as they prepare to visit Alexandria giants Ittihad on Saturday.

"Zamalek's recent defeat will not change our perception to the game," Ittihad boss and former Zamalek star Basri told FilGoal.com.

"We know they are a good side who are capable of recovering after any slip-up."

Ittihad have a chance to leapfrog Zamalek to seventh place should they win on Saturday, as they are just one point behind the White Knights.
