Al-Masri staying despite interest
Arab Contractors hotshot Ihab Al-Masri will stay at Green Mountain, despite serious attempts from Ahli and Zamalek to lure him.

The 24-year-old dazzled in the Egyptian Premier League this season scoring 10 goals to help Contractors stay in top flight, which eventually earned a call-up to the Egypt national team.

Al-Masri's move to a bigger club was widely expected, but it seems that Contractors chairman Ibrahim Mehleb will convince him to stay.

"We put it straight to Ihab that he is not leaving this summer," Mehleb told FilGoal.com.

"I told him that he made it to the national team through his performances with the club.

"On the contrary, our former players Mahmoud Samir and Alaa Kamal are struggling at Zamalek."
