Hamza vows to improve Mainz situation

The Egyptian striker is struggling to even make his team's match squad, following the arrival of coach Thomas Tuchel last month.

"I hope to improve my situation as soon as possible. At the moment, I feel it's not good for me as a footballer," Hamza told Rhein Zeitung.

"I am someone who needs a few games to get in shape."

Greatest Wish

Hamza is urging Tuchel to give him a chance to translate his efforts in training on the match ground.

"I have been training intensively in recent weeks with a lot of dedication," said the former Zamalek forward.

"Now I feel fit and my greatest wish is to finally show what I can."
