Guardiola defends Pique own-goal

Barca's were on brink of pulling off a hard-fought away victory, only for Pique to hit past his own keeper in the dying moments of the Primera Liga game.

"Gerard tried to clear the danger and almost did but it ended up in the net," said Guardiola said after the game.

"It is frustrating especially as it was so late in the game, but these things can happen."

Barcelona remained leaders in Spain after the draw, but are only one point above Real Madrid, who easily beat Getafe at home.
