Egyptian FA president Samir Zaher advised Mohamed Nagi 'Geddo' not to be distracted by the offers he had received from European sides.

Premiership side Sunderland have approached the Ittihad star this winter while Spanish pair Osasuna and Real Sociedad are also interested in his services.

The attacking midfielder made the score-line in Egypt's first two games in the African Cup of Nations (CAN), but Zaher fears that he might be carried away by his suitors' overtures.

"I and Zaher urged Geddo not to think about the offers he had got till after CAN," Ittihad chairman Mohamed Moselhi told FilGoal.com.

"His chances to seal a lucrative move to a foreign club will definitely be increased should he score more goals for the national team.

"We would agree to let Geddo go as long as his destination is outside Egypt."

A while back Cairo giants Ahli were seeking to sign the 26-year-old whose contract with the coastal outfit runs out in 2012.
