Sevilla played out a goalless draw with Athletic Bilbao on Sunday in a Primiera Liga game that witnessed too many cards.

Visitors Bilbao had six players cautioned throughout the game, while Sevilla's Romaric received a straight red card seven minutes from the hour mark.

Frederic Kanoute was also booked from the home side.

Sevilla are now in fourth place with 43 points, while Bilbao lie seventh on 37.
