Ismaili striker Ahmed Ali initially agreed to extend his deal for one year after informing the coastal side of his financial demands.

"I agreed to extend my contract for one more year but I'm still waiting for the club's reply after naming my demands," he told FilGoal.com.

"My contract expires by the end of next season and I wish I could stay on. I'm enjoying my best days at Ismaili now."

Ali has scored two goals in the Egyptian Premier League so far this season.

He also marked his debut for Egypt with a fine brace in the 6-3 friendly defeat of DR Congo at Cairo Stadium in August.

Ali is seeking to establish himself as a regular starter with the Pharaohs.

"Playing for the national team is my primary objective. I want to be a prominent Egypt striker," Ali said.
