Ismaili manager Mark Wotte faces a selection dilemma ahead of his side’s Confederation Cup tie with Sofapaka, with a couple of key defenders missing.

Defense duo Shadi Mohamed and Ibrahim Yehia have both returned from respective injuries, but have yet to regain match fitness ahead of the March 18 clash.

“The defense is still a headache for us with Shadi and Yehia out of fitness,” Ismaili assistant coach Ahmed Qenawi told FilGoal.com.

“Coach Wotte might be forced to deploy Ahmed Khairi as a sweeper and use Abdullah Al-Shahhat at the heart of defense, even though they are both midfielders.”
