The Egypt international has been looking for a club after ending his loan with Finnish side Jaro in December last year, as he did not extend his contract with parent club Helsinki.
"I've signed a deal with Harras Hodoud till the end of the season. Hodoud are a big club and I am honored to play for them," the 26-year-old told FilGoal.com.
Ashraf had a fairly fruitful stint in Finland, helping league strugglers Jaro secure survival with three crucial goals in as many games in the season's finale.
The forward, who came through Ahli's youth setup, made his Egypt debut against Georgia last November.
