The letter was issued on the FA's website stating the world football governing body's view on attempts by the Egyptian Ministry of Sports to dismantle the boards of several clubs including African champions Ahli.

FIFA emphasized on its 'full support with the reinstalment of the former boards of clubs'.

The FIFA latter also read: "The committee showed deep concern about the fact that the Egyptian FA did not implement the statutes and did not react to the interference from authorities and to different correspondences sent by FIFA in this regard.

"The committee deemed that the absence of answers and/or the very late replies should not be tolerated anymore and it is therefore anticipated that the EFA will show due diligence in the future."
