FIFA decided on Saturday to rule out Ittihad Jeddah's newly-signed Brazilian trio of the World Club Championship.

Ittihad have signed Lima, Marcao and Pedrinho after November 11th, the deadline of registering new players, FIFA said.

The Asian champions are set to play Ahli in the tournament opener that will take place on Sunday also missing suspended duo Joseph-Desire Job and Osama Al-Muwalad.

Meanwhile, Ittihad boss Anghel Iordanescu is reportedly furious at the decision to bar the players which means that they will have only six players, including a goalkeeper on the bench.

The winners of the opening match will face Sao Paulo club in the competition semi-finals that will take place on Wednesday.
