Port Said-Badr El Din Hassan: Ghana coach Ratomir Dujkovic said that Egypt earned its 3-1 victory over Ivory Coast in the conclusion of African Cup of Nations Group A action on Saturday.

“Egypt produced an important win that sent them into the quarter-finals thanks to their high spirit and the constant support of the fans that filled the Cairo Stadium,” Dujkovic told Filgoal.com on Sunday.

“They were also the better side, especially in the second-half,” he added.

Dujkovic said the Ivorian team was overconfident and reckless while playing the Egyptians who proved they were stronger.

Nigeria coach Augustine Eguavoen agreed with Dujkovic.

“The arrogance of the Ivorian team was behind their defeat. Plus, the tremendous support of the Egyptian fans was a determining factor in the victory,” Eguavoen told Filgoal.com exclusively.
