Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o hit a double but Frenchman Thierry Henry was the man of the match as he was involved in three of Barcelona's four goals against Real Murcia on Saturday night in day 18 of La Primera Liga.

Iceland striker Eidur Gudjohnson broke the deadlock after 27 minutes connecting with Gianluca Zambrotta's fine cross. Henry took two defenders with him leaving the former Chelsea striker all clear in front of goal.

The France marksman worked his magic in the second half as he sent two balls from the left flank allowing Bojan Krkic, 52, and Samuel Eto'o, 77, to stretch their lead to 3-0.

Eto'o had the last word of the game scoring the fourth and his second of the night in the 87th minute leaving the Catalan fans with some great memories as he will have to be out for six weeks playing with Cameroon in the African Nations Cup.

Barca, 40 points, cut the lead to four points with leaders Real Madrid who will play against Levante on Sunday.
