The veteran defender stated that Gencler have received three offers from Turkish sides, as he also claimed that Zamalek have approached him personally.

However, Al-Saqqa was flattered by the interest from Turkish Super Lig duo Gazientepspor and Ankaraspor.

"I am delighted to be wanted at the age of 34, the offers from Gazientepspor and Ankaraspor are excellent. Eskisehir have also shown interest," he told FilGoal.com.

"The bids are too good to reject, I could be offered the highest salary of my career so far.

"I want to thank Zamalek for their interest as well, but I am not willing to leave Europe now."

Gazientep, who are managed by Al-Saqqa's former Konyaspor employer Nurullah Saglam, are believed to have tabled €1.5M for the Egypt international.
