Former Ghazl Mahalla captain Ahmed Hassan Farag has re-joined his old club on a six-month loan deal from Police Union, the Cairo club have confirmed.

The 27-year-old has been struggling to impress Police coach Talaat Youssef after his move from Ahli last year and was accordingly loaned out.

Farag, nicknamed Drogba, scored 12 league goals for Mahalla in the 2007-2008 season, which encouraged Ahli to sign him in June 2008.

Meanwhile, Police assistant coach Mohamed Ibrahim revealed that ENPPI captain Ayman Saied is set to join his side.

"We have reached an agreement with ENPPI over the transfer of Saied and the move could well be concluded within 24 hours," the former Egypt international told FilGoal.com.

Saied fell out with ENPPI coach Diaa Al-Sayed recently and was stripped of the team's captaincy in the process.
