The Ghana squad have yet to receive promised bonuses following their success in the 2010 World Cup due to a procedural dispute.

The Black Stars' squad were promised around $60,000 each after they achieved the country's best-ever position by reaching the quarter-finals in South Africa.

A procedural dispute with the Bank of Ghana is believed to be the origin of the problem, despite a deadline of 15 October by Sports Minister Nii Nortey Duah.

The Bank of Ghana insists on transferring the money to the players' individual accounts, whereas the latter want their bonuses in cash.

Ghana's bonus dispute also took place back in the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola, where the Black Stars finished second to champions Egypt.
