Egypt, Algeria chiefs make peace in Qatar

Egyptian FA chairman Samir Zaher and his Algerian counterpart Mohamed Raouraoua have finally patched things up, following a meeting organized by Qatari football chiefs on Wednesday.

Zaher and Raouraoua were involved in an endless war of words during last years World Cup qualifiers, which witnessed some unpleasant events between Egypt and Algeria.

An announcement was made by the Egyptian FA on Wednesday, stating that the dispute has been resolved in a meeting that involved the presence of Qatar FA chief Hamad bin Khalifa.

Asian FA chairman Mohamed bin Hammam was also present in the Doha meeting as Zaher insisted thatNo rift is there between Egyptian and Algerian people.’

Meanwhile, the FA said that FIFA president Sepp Blatter will attend tomorrows friendly game between Egypt and Qatar, even though it is not included in the international agenda.

Qatar has just won their bid in hosting the 2022 World Cup.
