Zamalek have released out-of-favor trio Sayed Mosaad, Ayman Abdul-Aziz and Remi Adiko, while midfielder Ahmed Abdul-Raouf was sold to newly-promoted side MCDR.

Combative frontman Mosaad joined the Cairo side in the summer of 2009 from Qanah but was handed few opportunities to prove his worth.

Coach Hossam Hassan did not field him in a single game after taking over at Zamalek in November last year, preferring to rely on duo Sherif Ashraf and Ahmed Gaafar upfront.

Mosaad is expected to join Ismaili, who are on the lookout for a new striker, on a free transfer.

Abdul-Raouf, who also fell down the pecking order after the appointment of Hassan, penned a two-year deal with MCDR.

The defensive midfielder was regular starter for Zamalek during the past few seasons but could not retain his place after Hassan Mostafa and Ibrahim Salah joined last season.

Former Zamalek skipper Abdul-Aziz returned to the White Knights after spending a loan spell at Diyarbakirspor, only to be offloaded.

Ivorian attacking midfielder Marcel Adiko joined Zamalek in the summer of 2009 but barely featured for the 11-time Egyptian champions.
