Juventus ace Pavel Nedved revealed his support to the notion of signing Inter Milan's Dejan Stankovic, despite intense protests from the Bianconeri fans.
"I know Stankovic, he is a very strong player and I would like to play alongside him," said the Czech playmaker.
Stankovic, who seems to be out-of-favor for Jose Mourinho, was strongly linked with Juve in late, upon the request of coach Claudio Ranieri.
However, the Old Lady's supporters sounded their objection as they still hold a grudge for the Serbian, who criticized the Turin club during the Calciopoli scandal.
Juve chairman Giovanni Cobolli Gigli recently admitted that fans' opinion is vital in such decisions, but was confident that Stankovic 'would win them over in a couple of matches'.
