Bradley has usually been relying on Mohamed Abou-Treika and Mohamed Salah in attack, with the likes of Geddo, Mohamed Ibrahim and Ahmed Temsah occasionally added to the pair.

Central strikers like Ahmed Mekki and Ahmed Gaafar seem to be struggling to convince the American despite impressing with their respective clubs.

“We usually play with forwards who run from deep and this is the case with Abou-Treika and Salah,” coach Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com.

“I think we will continue with this strategy for now until a central striker stands out and proves himself.”

Without Abou-Treika and Salah, Egypt were held to a disappointing draw by Botswana on Tuesday, with defender Ahmed Hegazi scoring the only goal for the Pharaohs.
