Karim, 22, had an arguably successful two-year stint at Ismaili where he notched an overall 22 goals for the coastal outfit between 2007 and 2009.

He has been linked with a move to Cairo giants Ahli in the January transfer window but a deal wasn't struck.

Meanwhile, Ittihad concluded their pre-season training camp at 6th of October city before resuming training next Monday.
