Zamalek assistant coach Ismail Youssef tips released striker Mido to become a club president in the future.
Mido, 29, was shown the door by his boyhood club Zamalek last month after being deemed surplus to the requirements of manager Hassan Shehata.
“Mido is a model professional and this makes him qualified for big posts in the future,” coach Youssef told FilGoal.com.
“He is still young and can play for more four of five years and after that he could become a manager.
“Personally I would have been happy if Mido was a member of the Zamalek coaching staff.
“Everyone inside the club knows he is a future asset and I won’t be exaggerating to say that I expect Mido to become club president one day.”
Mido is currently looking for a new club amid English reports linking him with a Championship side.
