Ahli have voiced their discontent by the hotel residence provided by Champions League opponents Chelsea head of next week’s clash.
The Cairo club have initially protested against Chelsea’s choice of venue before being backed by CAF, as they now intend to call the African football governing body once again over what their website described as a ‘mediocre’ residence.
“We have sent a complaint to CAF because Chelsea insist to let us stay in a mediocre hotel,” Ahli football committee member Hadi Khashaba told the club’s website.
“Ahli are asking for a similar treatment to the one Chelsea had received in Cairo. We made sure they stayed in a decent hotel and got a warm welcome.”
Ahli, who fly to Accra on Thursday, are comfortably in charge of Group B as Chelsea trail by five points.
