Zamalek will miss key midfielder Nour Al-Sayed when they host Mazembe in the CAF Champions League next week.
The beleaguered Cairo club, who must win against the DR Congo giants, have confirmed that Al-Sayed will be out for two weeks with a foot injury.
Zamalek have already been struggling with absence of key players recently, with a number of stars injured while several others have been hardly settled to feature in games.
Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Ahmed Hassan has been ruled out of the next two games with Mazembe and Berekum Chelsea due to suspension.
The Egypt captain, who already stated his intention to leave the club, picked up his fourth yellow card of the competition in the 2-0 defeat at Mazembe.
Zamalek have zero points at the bottom of Group B, with three games remaining in the quarter-final stage.
