Ahli have made an offer for Club Africain and Chad striker Ezechiel Ndouassel as Ivorian Oussou Konan is set to sign from MCDR.
The Reds said on their website that an enquiry has been sent to Tunisia’s Club African for the 24-year-old Ezechiel, who has a contract until January 2015.
Ezechiel is currently Africain’s top scorer in the Tunisian league with six goals in 19 games.
He impressed for Africain against Zamalek in last year’s Champions League meeting in Tunis, scoring the opener in his side’s 4-2 romp.
Should he sign for Ahli, he will not be available for the CAF Champions League group stage as he already played for Africain in the Confederation Cup.
Meanwhile, Ahli have confirmed that their bid for striker Konan has been accepted by MCDR.
The 23-year-old is expected to sign for the league champions on Friday and could join the team’s pre-season camp in Antalya, Turkey.
Konan has been targeted by Ahli since new manager Hossam Al-Badri took charge last month, while Smouha Ghanaian hitman Samuel Affum is also believed to be on the club’s shortlist.
