FilGoal.com's live coverage to Egypt's opening 2014 World Cup qualifier versus Mozambique.

The Group G opener sees American coach Bob Bradley make his bow as the manager of Egypt.

Bradley hands Ahmed Temsah his first competetive appearance as well, preferring the Dakhlia striker to the likes of Emad Meteb and Mohamed Zidan.

The American started with an attacking 4-3-3 formation, with veteran Essam Al-Hadari retaining his place in goal and captaining the team in the absence of Ahmed Hassan.

EGYPT: Essam Al-Hadari - Ahmed Elmohamady, Mohamed Abdul-Shafi, Ahmed Hegazi, Mahmoud Fathallah - Mohamed Al-Nenni, Hosni Abd-Rabou, Mohamed Abou-Treika - Ahmed Temsah, Mohamed Salah, Geddo.

MOZAMBIQUE: Kapango - Paito, Mexer, Zainadine Junior, Whiskey, Simao, Tchitxo, Miro, Gomez,Tellinho, Jerry

1st half

1' Here we go, Egypt kick off at an empty Army Stadium

2' Egypt looking active on the right flank, which includes pacey duo Salah and Elmohamady

3' Salah surges from the right but a poor cross only ends up behind the goal

5' First chance for Egypt

5' A well-played one-two between Abou-Treika and Salah, who shoots wide of Kapango's left post

7' Another attempt goes wide, with Geddo trying an ambitious shot from range...poor effort

8' Mozambique players looking nervous as they struggle to work the ball through to Al-Hadari area

9' GOOD CHANCE FOR EGYPT

9' Abou-Treika with a superb through pass to Salah, who poorly attempts a right-footed lob into the hands of the keeper...a one-on-one situation wasted

10' First corner for Mozambique, followed by a long throw by Miro...the Black Mambas threat for the first time

12' Egypt try to hit on the counter as Temsah tries another long-range effort...too high

14' Good football from Egypt...Geddo to Temsah to Treika, who brilliantly feeds Salah for Egypt's first shot on target

14' Another Egypt break, this time Abd-Rabou hitting a weak ball into the keeper's hands...rare from the Ittihad Jeddah ace

15' Schemer Abou-Treika sends Salah with another through but the Mozambique defense retrieves the ball...the Mozambicans are struggling

17' Abou-Treika continues to be Egypt's main man with his defense-splitting passes..another pass to Abdul-Shafi, whose cross finds no man in red

18' CHANCE FOR EGYPT

18' Elmohamady surges from the right and his cross finds Abou-Treika's head to force an outstreched save from Kapango

19' The ex-Tersana keeper will have a busy night...that's for sure

20' Treika with a wicked cross, but Kapango puches as Abd-Rabou strikes high..it is now Egypt vs. Kapango

22' Egypt slow down the rhythem again and Mozambique are happy to stay back

24' Egypt are clearly playing a short-passing game, with no bona fide striker upfront...Salah, Geddo and Temsah are moving freely

26' Treika loses possession for the first time and a counter move for Mozambique ends up with a foul in Egypt's half

27' It seems Mozambique will try a long-ranger...lets see

27' Predictably high from Junior

29' A sloppy spell from Egypt, who are still not threatening Kapango's goal enough

30' Temsah with a good dribble and pass to Elmohamady, who could only cross to the head of a Mozambican defender

31' Corner for Mozambique and Egypt steals the ball as Salah tries to break through with his pace, but Txitxo is there to stop him

33' Mozambique players are gradually gaining confidence, they are clearly passing better and are no more afraid of their mighty hosts

34' A poor corner from Salah and now Abd-Rabou takes another corner...Fathallah wins a header between three defenders but only strikes wide

35' It is getting extra quite at the super-silent Army Stadium!

37' Hegazi wins the ball from Simao and sends Geddo through, but the Ahli forward is offside

38' Another spell of short passes from Egypt, but the Mambas are well-positioned at the back...no breakthrough

40' Egypt are clearly in need for a striker, the passing in midfield will not break Mozambique

42' Geddo with a run from the left, but Mexer is there to tackle him near the area...a foul from a promising position and a defenite yellow card not given by the ref

43' Abd-Rabou tries to hit the target from a tight angle, but Kapango parries away

44' BEST CHANCE FOR EGYPT

44' Salah pounces on a poor clearance to go through and unselifishly feed Abd-Rabou, who shockingly slices the ball from eight yards...a clear-cut chance

46' One minute of added time and Egypt with a final attempt to score before the break

47' Referee Sylvester Kirwa blows for the end of the first half...it would be very surprising if Egypt made no changes for the second half

2nd Half

46' As expected, Zidan replaces Geddo

49' Zidan looking active and receives a good cross from Elmohamady, but fails to control

51' Meteb and Ashour Al-Taqui are both warming up...the Ahli striker is likely to have a role to play tonight

52' Zidan, Abou-Treika and Temsah are deep-lying forwards as archetypal passing continues, Egypt still need an advanced striker

53' Abou-Treika is getting too deep now to collect the ball...Mozambique are holding on well

55' Abdul-Shafi wins a corner and Abd-Rabou plays the ball outside the area to Zidan...wasted

56' GOAL FOR EGYPT...FATHALLAH

56' Great work from the back pair...Hegazi wins a header to set up Fathallah in front of an empty net and the Zamalek center-half dispatches from point-blank

Fathallah also scored in Egypt;s opening CAN 2012 qualifier against Mozambique in 2010, a frustrating 1-1 draw that was key in Egypt's failure.

57' Hegazi sends Salah from the right and the latter threads a pass to Zidan, who falls down inside the area after a tackle...no signal from referee Kirwa

59' Mozambique are opening up and seem to be vulnerable from the flanks

60' Zidan shoots from long range but gets tackled before hitting the ball...corner for Egypt

61' First yellow card for Junior, who catches Temsah with a wild tackle...could easily have been red

62' Abd-Rabou crosses poorly into Kapango's hands

62' A rare break for Mozambique...Miro is sent through by Whiskey, but could only shoot wide...best chance for the visitors so far

63' GOAL FOR EGYPT...OWN GOAL

63' IRONIC...Temsah sends Zidan with a fine through and the latter rockets a left-footed shot into the left post and the head of Kapango, who agonizingly watches the ball roll into his net

During the last meeting with Egypt, Mozambique also scored an own goal in the 2-0 defeat at CAN 2010.

Ironically, former Ismaili defender Dario Khan was the scorer and this time Kapango - the ex-Tersana keeper - repeats the favor for Egypt.

65' Temsah makes way for Ibrahim Salah

66' Mozambique are struggling and a third goal is looming

68' Abd-Rabou, who became more advanced with the introduction of Ibrahim Salah, sends another shot way above the bar...not his usual self

70' WHAT A CHANCE FOR MOZAMBIQUE

70' A corner ends up with an attcker trying to beat Al-Hadari from a tight angle...the shot goes outside the area and Paito hits the side-netting...that was very alerting for Egypt

72' Now Abou-Treika takes a freekick instead of Abd-Rabou and the cross is easily cleared again...Egypt have been poor in set pieces

73' Ibrahim Salah is doing a good job as a ball-winning midfielder but looks over-enthusiastic

74' Expected...first caution for Egypt, Ibrahim Salah with a poor challenge

75' Mozambique have possession for the first time in the game

77' The visitors win a freekick and Junior will try

78' High from the Mozambique defender

79' Final substitution for Egypt...Abd-Rabou makes way for Al-Taqui... another change in midfield, no Meteb tonight

80' Mozambique are in control of possession and Egypt don't seem willing for a third goal

82' Surprisingly, the Black Mambas also seem to be happy with the scoreline...this is turning into a dull affair

84' Egypt retrieve the ball and the slow passing game continues

86' First shot on target for Mozambique..Miro with a long-range effort and Al-Hadari holds the ball quite uncomfortably

88' More boring play from both sides...the players are obviously waiting for the final whistle...no more goals will come

90' The voice of Egypt assistant coach Diaa Al-Sayed is very clear...he is making sure his players don't switch off

91' Salah tests Kapango and the keeper easily catches

91' Three minutes of added time...its almost over

93' One last chance...Elmohamady shoots wide

93' Final whistle...for the fourth time in a row, Egypt 2-0 Mozambique
