Zamalek have completed the signing of Algerian striker Mohamed Aoudia from JS Kabylie for a fee of $1million, the club said.

The 23-year-old penned a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Cairo club and should be available by the start of January.

"Hossam Hassan's persuation was decisive for me. This move was far-fetched," the Algerian international said.

Aoudia’s arrival means that one of Zamalek’s three foreign players will leave in January, with Ghana’s Rahim Ayew the closest to make an exit.

The out-of-favor Ayew has hardly played for Hassan’s side this season and recently revealed his willingness to leave the club.

Iraq striker Emad Mohamed is another player who virtually has no future with Zamalek, but is currently out on loan at Iran’s Shahin Bushehr.
